Rock n Robins Dance School was formed at the beginning of 1990 by the principal Rock n Robin.

Prior to this Rock n Robin had been taught by many Dance school throughout Sydney and was also bought up with music, her brothers were also dancers and one of them in particular was a dance teacher himself for Arthur Murrays in the days of Boogie Woogie the brothers also danced on “6 O’clock Rock” and won many a dance competition.

Robin then later on became a part of the dance school Rockdale Dance Studio where she then learnt to become a Dance Teacher from Champion Ballroom Dancer/Teachers from Australia.

Robin has taught dancing in many clubs throughout Sydney.. Too mention a couple:

• Rockdale Dance Studio: 2 years
• Rockdale RSL: 15 years
• Brighton Le Sands Fisherman Club: 7 years
• St George Dance Centre
  

She has also perform on Television with performances on the Midday Show also dance with and performed with Chubby Checker form America.

Robin is also proud to announce that many a marriage has come out of Rock n Robin’s Dance School

50\60’s style of dancing is still so very popular today as more and more clubs and hotels in Sydney are now getting into the Swing of things by also employing “Rock a Billy”, “Rock n Roll” & “Swing Bands” there are many venues around town in Sydney that dancers can go to too dance and see a live band for a fun night .

Most people do not realize that 50/60 style of dance can be danced to any modern day song you hear on the Radio today unless they see it they cannot image it but we are doing it all the time.
